Help Backpack Buddies pack their first food bags of the school year on August 9 at 5 p.m. before Open Table.
Would you like to help with Backpack Buddies this year? Volunteers old and new are invited to a planning meeting on August 10 at 11 a.m. in Conference Room 3 (new location).

Through the Backpack Buddies program, Pittman Park provides children at Langston Chapel elementary and middle schools wholesome food on Fridays to prevent food insecurity over the weekends. Denise Lynch will be coordinating the ministry this year. Contact the church office for more information.
