Bulloch County’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. parade will be held Monday, Jan. 19. This year, Pittman Park will join other congregations to represent Area UMC churches. Put on your Pittman Park shirt and meet us at 9:45 a.m. on East Olliff St. We will begin the route at 11 a.m., proceed through Downtown Statesboro and end at Luetta Moore Park.
Parking Access for Walkers
You may park in the empty lots adjacent to Dairy Queen. Please do not block the business entrance or exit to Dairy Queen. Please do not park in the Dairy Queen Parking Lot.
There will be volunteers on Oliff Street to assist you in locating your assigned spot in the parade.
Parade End
The parade will end at the Luetta Moore Building located on Martin Luther King Drive. Please remember that transportation back to the Oliff Street staging area will not be provided.
After the parade, please join us for the 1:00 PM Community Celebration program at the Elm Street Church of God, located at 29 Elm Street, Statesboro.
