Hi Church!

Easter Sunday was amazing! We had beautiful worship with infant baptism, confirmands professing their faith in Christ, and our whole church celebrating the resurrection of Jesus! God is truly at work at Pittman Park!

And the celebration continues this week as kick off a new opportunity to worship! This Sunday we launch The Nine, our contemporary worship service in the fellowship hall.  You’ve probably already noticed some changes in the fellowship hall and there are even more on the way. Along with a new time for worship, we are gathering beforehand to enjoy a homemade breakfast.

So many of you have asked how you can support our new service, here are a few ways that come to mind:

  • Pray – We covet your prayers for our worship, our band, and our church as we move forward into the future that God has for us. I believe that discerning God’s will for us is best accomplished through prayer and us joining together to seek God’s will is the best thing we can do in any situation.
  • Show Up – Come and join us for breakfast and worship, not only this week, but throughout the summer as we begin a new pattern of worship. Your involvement will be a huge benefit to our church and community. And, why not bring a friend or a neighbor as well?
  • Show Out –  I don’t just want you to come to worship, I want you to show up and show out by welcoming guests to our church well, shaking hands, and singing loud. If you’re interested in helping make our church a more welcoming and hospitable place, send me an email and I’ll connect you with Rus Rozelle who oversees our Grace Team Greeters.
  • Share Your Feedback – Throughout the summer we are going to be working on the order and flow of our worship service.  If you’ve got feedback, ways we can grow, or can enhance our worship, please feel free to share those with me. My email is [email protected].

I’m excited for this new opportunity to learn, grow, and serve God through worship at Pittman Park!

God bless and see you Sunday at The Nine!
