What We’re About

Pittman Park UMC is located in Statesboro, Georgia beside the campus of Georgia Southern University. Since we formed our congregation in 1956, we have endeavored to serve the nearby campus and community in practical ways and encourage each other to “do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God” (John Wesley, founder of Methodism). As a United Methodist church, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Our organization is a part of the larger South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church.
