Happy Thanksgiving, Pittman Park family!

On this day set aside for gratitude, Stephanie and I find ourselves especially thankful for you. Serving at Pittman Park is one of the greatest blessings in our lives. Each week reminds us in big and small ways how deeply God’s grace is at work in this community.

Today we give thanks for your love. You care for one another with sincerity, welcome others with compassion, and reflect the love of Christ in all you do. It is a privilege to walk with you.

We give thanks for your faithfulness. Through seasons of celebration and seasons of challenge, you continue to follow Jesus with steady hearts. Your commitment to worship, prayer, discipleship, and service strengthens the witness of our church in meaningful ways.

And we give thanks for your generosity. You give your time, your gifts, and your resources so that others may experience hope and belonging. Because of your open hands and willing spirits, ministries grow, families are encouraged, and our community is blessed.

As you gather around tables today, I pray you feel the warmth of God’s presence and the joy that comes from knowing you are loved by your church family, by Stephanie and me, and most of all by God, whose goodness never fails.

May gratitude fill your heart, peace rest in your home, and hope guide your steps in the days ahead.

Happy Thanksgiving, friends.

God bless,

Jonathan Smith
