Friends,

There’s no denying it, there is a lot of pain and hurt in our world right now. Sometimes it feels like that’s all we see. From politics, to poverty, to our own personal lives, it can be easy to lose sight of hope. But what if love had the final word about the way we perceive the world? What if the way of Jesus shaped how we see others, how we treat one another, and how we show up in the world?

This Sunday, we begin a new sermon series called Love Like Jesus. Over the next three weeks, we’ll look closely at how Jesus loved the Church—not in abstract ideas, but in tangible, embodied ways. We’ll explore how Jesus loved by breaking bread (hospitality), washing feet (service), and forgiving sinners (grace). Each act reveals a love that is generous, humble, and compassionate, a love that still has the power to heal and transform our lives, and our world, today. My prayer is that this series helps us not only talk about love, but actually live out the love of Christ in our everyday lives.

A Note About The Weather On Sunday

As look toward Sunday, we plan to worship at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. However, as inclement weather is expected to arrive on Saturday, we encourage everyone to use your best judgment when it comes to travel and safety. If conditions feel uncertain for you or your family, please don’t take unnecessary risks, your well-being matters deeply to us.

If you’re unable to join us in person, we invite you to worship with us online and stay connected from home. We’ll continue to share any updates as needed.

No matter where you are this weekend, know that you are loved, by God, by our church family, by Stephanie and I, and we can’t wait to grow together as we learn what it truly means to Love Like Jesus.

God bless,

Jonathan
