Church Family,
This past Sunday, we pressed start together in our Level Up series. I’ve been reflecting all week on how powerful that moment can be, that moment when we finally move from thinking about faith to living it out. Pressing start is that first, brave decision to step toward the life God has been waiting to lead us into.
In the message, we walked through three key steps to pressing start:
- Decide Your Direction – Who will you serve?
Life offers countless paths, but only one leads to life that truly lasts. When we choose Jesus as Lord, we’re saying, “Every part of my life belongs to You.” That decision changes everything.
- Delete Your Distractions – What idols must go?
Some things in life compete for our devotion quietly. It may not be an obvious sin; it could be busyness, comparison, or comfort. But anything that takes God’s place in our hearts has to go if we want to grow.
- Declare Your Devotion – Will your life show it?
Faith isn’t just personal—it’s visible. The way we speak, love, forgive, and serve declares who we belong to. Our lives were meant to tell the story of God’s goodness to the world.
These aren’t just Sunday ideas—they are daily decisions. Pressing start shows up in ordinary moments: when you choose prayer over worry, when you show kindness instead of frustration, when you make room for God in your crowded schedule. Every small step is a declaration that you are following Jesus.
And pressing start is just the beginning. This week, as we continue our Level Up journey, we’re moving to the next step: Upgrade Your Priorities. Once you’ve started, the question becomes what gets your best energy, your best focus, your best love? If Jesus truly leads our lives, then our schedules, choices, and priorities will begin to reflect that.
So as you head into the rest of this week, lean into these questions:
- Who will I serve with my life today?
- What distractions or idols need to be cleared away?
- How will my devotion to Jesus show in the way I live?
Decide your direction. Delete your distractions. Declare your devotion. And get ready—because God is inviting us to level up again this Sunday.
With love and joy,
Stephanie
