Our missional purpose in the United Methodist Church is to make disciples. The South Georgia Conference is hosting workshops across our region to provide training for this important work. Pittman Park UMC will host Simple Discipleship on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Attendees will enjoy an interactive class that encourages participants to view discipleship not as a program to oversee but as a lifestyle that multiplies. Using Scripture, engaging activities, and practical tools, leaders will discover how simple, relational routines can spark a lasting discipleship movement: accepting God’s love, sharing it with others, and repeating. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding, confidence, and specific action steps to nurture discipleship that extends beyond church boundaries.
