Have you met Faith and David Cooper yet? You might see them at the Nine service or at Open Table on Wednesday nights since David is on the cooking team. Your children might know Faith from her service with Park Kids. They also help lead the Lectionary Sunday School class and participate in the Backpack Buddies ministry. The couple began attending Pittman Park after moving from Lawrenceville to be near their children and grandchildren. We asked them a few questions to get to know them a little better.
What is your favorite thing about Pittman Park?
The love for Jesus and community. There is a heart for Jesus here that we have not felt in a long time.
Are you dog people or cat people?
Both. We have a cat named Coco and a Great Pyrenees names Sophie.
What is your superpower?
Welcoming people with disabilities. Faith had a career in special education, David has mobility challenges, and together they have a son with autism, Kevin.
