The next medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic will be Jan. 30-Feb 6, 2027. Anyone interested in joining the team is welcome to attend the first planning meeting on Monday, Aug.31 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Physicians, nurses, pharmacists, first responders and those familiar with healthcare or pharmacy are needed as well as people that can speak Spanish or Creole/French.
About the trip:
We will be going back to Barahona where we have established contacts who facilitate our trip once we get to the D.R. We will stay at the El Quemaito Hotel where we have stayed for the past several years. We will be staffing mobile clinics to reach underserved populations, including Hatian migrant workers. As in past years, this trip will be facilitated by Big Hope Bearden Ministries.
