What a joy it was to see our church family come alive this past Sunday evening at Come To Christmas. More than 150 people gathered to kick off the Advent season together, and the night was filled with laughter, creativity, fun, and a whole lot of Christmas spirit.

We decorated the church from top to bottom, shared a wonderful potluck meal, crafted together, worshiped together, and ended the evening by lighting the star on our tower. Watching that star shine over our campus—surrounded by children, parents, grandparents, and friends—felt like a reminder of the hope that guides us through this season and through our lives. Thank you to everyone who came, served, cooked, decorated, and made the night such a blessing as we officially kicked off our 70th year of ministry together!

And our celebration continues this Sunday.

At 9:00 a.m., we will gather for our contemporary service and share Holy Communion together, a steady and sacred way to walk through Advent. We will be singing Christmas songs as we continue to anticipate the coming of Jesus as a child in a manger and as the Redeemer and Righteous Judge over all the earth.

Then at 11:00 a.m., our Chancel Choir will present the Christmas Cantata, “We Believe,” featuring more than fifty voices, our Kids Choir, the lighting of the Advent wreath, and a beautiful service of scripture, song, and rejoicing. This is also a Family First Sunday, so children will remain with us in worship, and Nursery will be provided for our youngest ones.

You want to miss either of our worship services! So, join us for worship and communion at 9am, Sunday School at 10am, and our Christmas Cantata at 11am.

The Advent season is a season full of meaning, wonder, and opportunities to draw closer to Christ and one another. I hope you’ll join us as we continue our Advent journey together.

God bless,
