We’ve had an INCREDIBLE SUMMER of ministry, fun, and fellowship at Pittman Park! From Inside Us Camp to mission trips in Tifton, Uganda, and the Dominican Republic, to pool parties for our youth, and our Annual Watermelon Cutting last night, we’re a church that’s active and thriving!

As summer winds down, there’s a sense of excitement in the air! Soon, our children will be heading back to school, students will return to their apartments, and we’ll all be adjusting to new schedules and discovering new rhythms of life.

As we transition into these weeks, I want to invite you to think about the rhythms you’re creating in your life and your family’s schedule. Beyond just getting everyone to school and work, where are you carving out moments to grow together? How are you nurturing your own spiritual growth and helping those around you? Are you finding time for rest and rejuvenation during the week? Our lives are shaped by rhythms, and now is the perfect time to reflect on the ones we have and the ones we want to establish.

Here at Pittman Park, our rhythms are evolving, too, as we move into the fall.

We will kick off the fall with a Churchwide Potluck Picnic on Sunday, August 4 after traditional worship. We’ll provide the chicken, just bring a side to share !

Starting August 7, our Wednesday Night Activities are back, and we’re introducing new opportunities for community, discipleship, and service. This year, our Wednesday night theme is “Growing Together,” because life is better when we grow together!

Join us for a variety of engaging activities, from Communion and our free Wednesday night supper to discipleship for all ages and childcare. It’s never been easier to find your place, connect, and grow at Pittman Park!
