Aloha Camp 2025 – “Aloha – Called by God”

This week, the halls of Pittman Park echoed with laughter, worship songs, and the unmistakable joy of children discovering just how much God loves them. Aloha Camp wasn’t just a summer event—it was a sacred adventure. Through Scripture, music, Moana movie clips, and heart-to-heart conversations, our kids were reminded that they are not just part of a fun camp—they are part of God’s story.

This year’s theme, “Aloha – Called by God,” guided everything we did. At the heart of it all was this powerful truth from Ephesians 2:10:

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

These weren’t just words to memorize—they were life-shaping truths. All week long, we told our kids they were made on purpose for a purpose—and they believed us.

We saw it in their worship. We heard it in their prayers. We felt it in their questions. We watched wide eyes take in the stories of David, Samuel, Mary, Paul, and Jesus—all people called by God. And we asked the same questions of our kids: “What do you think will happen?” and “What happened in your heart?”

And none of this would have been possible without our incredible Leaders—our family of volunteers. From our Ohana Leaders who walked with each child, to our Craft, Ocean and Games crew, Bible Island storytellers, Snack helpers, Opening and Closing leaders, and behind-the-scenes supporters—you didn’t just serve. You shined. You embodied the aloha spirit and lived out Ephesians 2:10. You were the good works God prepared in advance. You showed up, you loved big, and you made an eternal difference.

So as we wrap up Aloha Camp 2025, we don’t say goodbye—we say mahalo (thank you) and aloha (hello again). Because this is just the beginning. A beginning of young hearts walking with Jesus. A beginning of kids learning to listen for God’s voice. A beginning of our church continuing to call out purpose in the next generation.

Let’s keep making waves, church.

With joy and gratitude,
Stephanie
