One of the greatest joys of this season is remembering that gratitude isn’t just something we feel, it’s something we share. When we tell the stories of how God has met us, carried us, and blessed us, our thanksgiving becomes a witness that encourages everyone around us.
That’s exactly what we’re celebrating this Sunday as we conclude our Songs of Thanksgiving sermon series. Scripture is filled with people lifting their voices in praise, sometimes from the mountaintop, sometimes from the valley, and those songs of gratitude still echo today in the lives of God’s people.
This week, we have the privilege of hearing from three members of our church family: Matt McCutcheon, Nancy Crites, and Allison Wall. Each of them will be sharing a testimony of thanksgiving during worship, stories of God’s faithfulness, moments of grace, and the quiet ways God has been present in their lives. Their voices join the chorus of praise that has carried God’s people through every season.
I hope you’ll join us for this special Sunday. Come ready to listen, to reflect, and to give thanks. As we gather around the stories of others, we often find ourselves remembering God’s goodness in our own lives too.
So, let’s lift our own song of thanksgiving together, because when we share our gratitude, our whole church is strengthened and encouraged to love and serve our community.
God bless,
Jonathan
