Fair Week Is Here!
This is one of my favorite weeks of the year, because we get to roll up our sleeves, have fun, and raise funds for our international missions! It’s a time when we come together, work side by side, and make a difference—both in our church community and beyond.
What I love most about our food booth at the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair is how it unites us. Watching members and friends collaborate, problem-solve, laugh, and support each other is inspiring. It’s more than just a fundraiser; it’s a chance to deepen connections, forge new friendships, and even restore relationships. There’s something truly powerful about coming together for a shared purpose.
I believe that the world needs to see more of this from the church today. The world needs to see a church that is unified, with hearts set on Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith. A church that, despite our differences, works together to expand God’s Kingdom.
In a world that too often focuses on division and separation, we have the opportunity to model something different. We can point toward a future where the old order of division, pain, and brokenness is no more—a future that begins when we find unity in Christ, unity in purpose, and unity in our diversity.
God bless,

For Jesus. For People. For Community.
