Church Family,
This past Sunday, we experienced God’s generosity powerfully at work among us. As part of our Generous sermon series, we were reminded that Love Gives. So many of you responded to the invitation to give intentionally, proportionally, and sacrificially! I am deeply thankful that we are a congregation living out Kindhearted Generosity. In fact, we received 55 pledges totaling $322,356 toward our ministry for the coming year. Praise God!
This year, our ministry budget will exceed $800,000. This bold step reflects both the growth we are experiencing and the vision God is placing before us as we prepare to celebrate 70 years of ministry in 2026. Every pledge matters, and every gift makes a difference. We need every member of our church family to participate so that together we can build strong foundations for the future.
If you have not yet made your pledge, I encourage you to do so this week. You can bring your commitment card to the church office, place it in the offering plate this Sunday, or complete your pledge online. However you choose to give, your generosity helps children meet Jesus, youth find belonging, families grow in faith, and neighbors in need discover hope.
This Sunday, we will also join Christians around the world in celebrating World Communion Sunday. On this day, we proclaim our unity in Christ and give thanks that, no matter where we come from, we share one table and one Lord. As we gather, may we continue to live generously, offering ourselves to God’s mission here and to the work of Christ’s Church everywhere.
God bless,
Jonathan
