A Special Request for Prayer from Addie Smith
Hey Pittman Park Family!
This week, I’m writing to you not as the pastor’s daughter, but as one of the many students heading to Orlando, FL, for Rock the Universe, the largest Christian concert event in the country. We’re so excited for a weekend packed with amazing music, thrilling rides, and time spent growing closer to God and each other.
Our group will have the chance to hear from incredible artists like Matthew West, Brandon Lake, Bethel Music, TAYA, and so many more. From dancing and singing to worshiping under the stars, it’s going to be an unforgettable experience. But even as we’re having fun, we’re also opening our hearts to what God has for us this weekend.
I’d like to ask for your prayers for all of us—students, chaperones, and leaders. Pray for safe travels, for moments of connection and growth, and for us to come home with hearts on fire for God. We’re looking forward to riding rides, enjoying all the snacks, and, of course, singing along at the top of our lungs, but more than anything, we hope this weekend strengthens our faith and builds a stronger bond as a youth group.
Here’s a glimpse of what’s ahead for us:
Friday Highlights: Aaron Cole, Matthew West, Rend Collective, Brandon Lake, and more!
Saturday Highlights: Bethel Music, TAYA, Elevation Rhythm, and Forrest Frank, just to name a few.
Your prayers mean so much to us as we head into this weekend. Whether it’s for the leaders keeping track of us (pray for their energy and patience!) or for the students to encounter God in new ways, every prayer makes a difference.
Thank you for supporting and loving us, Pittman Park! We can’t wait to come back and share stories of how God moved during Rock the Universe.
With excitement and gratitude,
Addie Smith
many prayers and lots of live for all of you
I’m so excited for y’all! And yes! I look forward to hearing all about how God moved among you and in you!
