You can find Sheri and George Sterling at Open Table and the Fellowship Sunday School class each week. Those who participate in Sewing For Missions will know Sheri well as a 13-year veteran of that ministry. They attend the Traditional service and are the proud parents of Pittman Park’s Director of Traditional Music, Lisa Muldrew.

We asked them a few questions to get to know them better:

What is your favorite thing about Pittman Park?
The people and the pastors. The first Sunday we visited, everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome. The next Sunday, the pastor came to visit us, and the next Sunday, we joined the church!

Are you dog people or cat people?
We have to say dog people because we currently have a 15-year-old dog. She is a Bichon Frisé named Effie. But, in the past, we had a cat that lived to be 19 years old!

What is your super power?
Fixing things. Sheri services and repairs all the sewing machines for Sewing for Missions, and George fixes everything else.
