Anita Wiggins and her husband Robert have been members at Pittman Park since 1967. You may see them in the traditional service at 11 or in the Fellowship Sunday School Class. Anita also attends the New Morning Circle UMW group at Pittman Park. If the Wiggins name sounds familiar, it might be because they run the Wiggins Christmas Tree Farm and have been providing Christmas Trees to Bulloch County for over 30 years. Pittman Park is blessed each year with Christmon trees from the Wiggins farm to adorn the sanctuary. We asked Anita a few questions to get to know her a little better.
What is your favorite Pittman Park memory?
Two memories stand out for me in our church, that of baptism of both of our boys and working with the youth as counselors in our early years—fun and learning in guiding our own children born later.
Are you a dog person or a cat person?
Friendly dogs are a priority for us. We have two mixed breeds. One is a very sweet pit bull mixture, the other a mixed jack russell (sweetest dog we’ve ever owned—she’s mine, of course.)
What is your superpower?
My super power is having OCD—Obsessive CHRISTMAS Disorder. I excessively decorate for Christmas, partly because Christmas has always my favorite holiday; partly because I enjoy inviting children in to see my child-geared decorations and listen to musical “items” while the parents choose their own Christmas tree from our tree lot.
She and Robert are the sweetest. Love them!
So thankful for Robert and Anita’s friendship! Love all the Wiggins????
Anita is such a fun friend to be around. She always makes me laugh.
