What We’re Up To
Sign-Up for a Shift at the Fair
Each year, Pittman Park UMC runs a food booth at the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair. All proceeds support Park Missions. The 2025 fair will run October 13-18, and volunteers are needed for morning, afternoon and evening shifts all week. Sign up for a shift online here.
Hospitality Class
Professional etiquette coach, Ms. Bobbie, will present a hospitality class on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The instruction is recommended for kids in grades 3-6 and their caregivers. Register by October 19.
Rock the Universe Jan. 23-25
Park Students are going to the Rock the Universe Christian music festival at Universal Orlando. The trip will be Jan. 23-25. A $200 deposit for the trip is due Oct. 22. Chaperones needed.
Order Your Poinsettias by Oct. 27

Sewing for Missions
On the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 9:30 a.m., the Sewing for Missions team gathers in the sewing room beside the fellowship hall to work on various sewing projects to support missions efforts. All are welcome to join, supplies and equipment are provided.

Green Team Recycles Non-Rechargeable Batteries
Pittman Park's Green Team collects batteries for recycling. Bring your standard batteries to the collection receptacle outside the church office. Please DO NOT put rechargeable batteries in the receptacle. Rechargeable batteries can be recycled at Lowe's.
