Service of Thanksgiving
Join us on Sunday, November 23 at 9 or 11 for a special service of gratitude as we anticipate the Thanksgiving holiday. Instead of a sermon, we will hear stories of faith from Nancy Crites, Matthew McCutcheon and Alli Wall.
Martha Ross Memorial Blood Drive
The next Red Cross blood drive at Pittman Park will be Tuesday, Nov. 25 from 12-5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Click to schedule a donation time and learn more about our blood drive’s new namesake.
Hanging of the Greens
Hanging of the Greens at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Hang wreaths, place candles and style nativity scenes.
Come to Christmas
Our throwback Come to Christmas event begins at 5 p.m. with a potluck. There will be Christmas crafts, a classic recipes tasting room, and the lighting of the belltower star.
Christmas Cantata Concert
The Chancel Choir at Pittman Park UMC will present “We Believe” on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
Jingle Jam Dec. 10
Don’t miss Jingle Jam on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 5:30 p.m. We’ll kick off the evening with a meal together, then the youth will take center stage, running the games, hosting the activities, and helping us celebrate the joy of Christmas.
Donations needed for Christmas Boxes
We are in need of more paper boxes with lids and wrapping paper for our Christmas Boxes for Backpack Buddies families. We also need homemade cookies in tins.
Sewing for Missions
On the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 9:30 a.m., the Sewing for Missions team gathers in the sewing room beside the fellowship hall to work on various sewing projects to support missions efforts. All are welcome to join, supplies and equipment are provided.
Susannah Wesley Circle Dec. 9
Bring your lunch and join the Susannah Wesley Women's Circle for fellowship, prayer and a devotion. We also support missions and care for members who are in need.Our December meeting will be Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 11:30 a.m. in the Student Center.
Bring Snacks for Park Students on Sunday Nights
Want to show love to our awesome Park Students? Sign up to bring the snacks to their youth group meetings on Sunday nights at 5 p.m. in the Student center. Expect about 15 students and leaders. Contact the church office to claim a date, or sign up online here.

Green Team Recycles Non-Rechargeable Batteries
Pittman Park's Green Team collects batteries for recycling. Bring your standard batteries to the collection receptacle outside the church office. Please DO NOT put rechargeable batteries in the receptacle. Rechargeable batteries can be recycled at Lowe's.
