Mike and Karen Riegelman recently moved to Statesboro from Ringgold in North Georgia near the boarder with Tennessee. You might see them at the Traditional service on Sundays or packing bags for Backpack Buddies on Wednesday afternoons. We asked them a few questions to get to know them a little better.

What is your favorite thing about Pittman Park?
We love being a part of a church that is so involved in the community.

Are you dog people or cat people?
Both. Our black lab Tata Tot is only 10 weeks old, and our cat Reese is 14. They’re learning to get along with each other.

What is your superpower?
Mike can fall asleep “in any service,” and Karen is a former Girl Scout Cookie Mom.
