Pittman Park will be hosting youth groups across the region for River of Life July 8–12.
River of Life is a week where our students step into hands-on mission work right here in our own community and surrounding areas. Each day, they will serve on teams to complete projects such as yard work, minor home repairs, painting, and to help meet practical needs for individuals and families.
It is more than just the work, though. Students begin and end each day in worship, prayer, and small group time. They build friendships, grow in confidence, and start to see how their faith can be lived out in real and tangible ways. Many students come away from this week with a deeper understanding of what it means to serve others and to be the hands and feet of Christ.
We are also seeking families willing to host teams for afternoon showers (around 4:00–5:00 pm). Teams will bring their own supplies and simply need access to showers. If you are able to help, contact Stephanie Smith.
