Friends, I am pleased to announce that with this email, we are officially launching the “Our Hope is Built” Campaign for Pittman Park.

For more than 66 years, Pittman Park United Methodist Church has been a place where hope is built. Hope that has guided generations to a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ. Hope that has helped us navigate through storms and trials both personally and collectively. Hope that has shaped us and formed us as we seek to make disciples and transform the world in Jesus’ name. I believe our hope in Jesus Christ will lead us together into God’s good future at Pittman Park.

Our Sanctuary and fellowship hall are places where members, friends, and our community find hope week after week. I’m excited for us to begin this capital campaign to prepare our church for the next 66 years of ministry.

The “Our Hope Is Built,” campaign aims to raise $110,000 to repair and restore our stained glass in the Sanctuary, replace our flooring and lighting in the Fellowship Hall, and equip our church with new life-saving AEDs.

In the coming days, you will be hearing more about the campaign and how you can help build hope for the future here at Pittman Park. Also, mark your calendars for Sunday, May 21, when we will commit our pledges together in worship toward our goal.
