Wow! What an incredible Sunday of worship at Pittman Park!! More than 460 people joined us to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior at Sunrise Worship, The N9NE, and Traditional Worship. Thank you for being a warm and welcoming congregation and inviting your friends to join us.

This Sunday, we kick off a brand new sermon series called “See, Hear, & Know,” which will carry us through 1 John. John, in 1 John 1:3-4, writes to the churches in Ephesus and Asia Minor, declaring,

“3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We write this to make our joy complete.”

John wants his audience to understand that by coming to know Jesus as Savior and Lord, they will have true fellowship with God and each other. I believe that John’s testimony is true, even today. By seeing, hearing, and knowing the work that God has done and is doing in and around us, we, too, will have joyful fellowship with God and each other.

Here’s a quick look at the sermons in this series:

April 7 – See, Hear, & Know

April 14 – See, Hear, & Know You Are God’s Beloved

April 21 – See, Hear, & Know God’s Command

April 28 – See, Hear, & Know God’s Love

May 5 – See, Hear, & Know You Are Chosen

I hope you’ll join us as we journey through 1 John together and continue to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ!

God bless,
Jonathan Smith
