It’s Fair Week!

Thank you to everyone who has come out or is coming out to work in our Fair Booth to support missions. One of the things I love about the Fair Booth is how it brings people together. Watching you work together, problem-solve, laugh, talk, and support each other has been amazing. The Fair Booth is one of those places where we connect and deepen relationships and even restore relationships that have been strained. There truly is something remarkable and unifying that happens when we work together toward a common goal.

The world needs to see more of that from the church today. The world needs to see a unified church with members whose eyes and hearts are set on Jesus Christ, the author and perfector of our faith. The world needs to see the church unified in its mission and ministry. The world needs to see us, as different and diverse as we are, working together to expand the Kingdom of God.

In a world that draws lines of separation and pits people against one another. In a world filled with brokenness and pain. The church has the opportunity to point toward a future where the old order of things—separation, division, pain, evil, and sin—are no more. A future that begins when we find unity in Christ, unity in our purpose, and unity in our diversity.

God bless,
