You might already know Sandy Macdonald. If you’ve had the privilege of hearing an oboe performance during a service, that was Sandy. You may have even been to her house if you were a part of the youth group. She and Dave hosted Park Students twice this summer. The couple normally attends the Traditional service, and they often volunteer on committees and service projects. Last week, Dave and Sandy rolled up their sleeves and painted the hallway outside the church office. In between coats, I asked them to share a little more about themselves.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Pittman Park?
A: The warmth. We were drawn to this church because it was inviting.

Q: Are you a dog person or a cat person?
A: We are dog people, but we don’t currently have any dogs at our house since we travel a lot. We live on a family property, though, so we have 9 grand dogs nearby!

Q: What is your superpower?
A: Seeing a need and jumping in to do it! For example, a few years ago, we helped upgrade the choir room to make space for the handbell choir.
