This Sunday is Confirmation Sunday At Pittman Park!
This Sunday, a significant milestone will be reached in the lives of our congregation and our Confirmation Class. In the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services, our confirmands will step forward to profess their faith in Jesus Christ. This moment is the culmination of our congregation’s commitment to, “surround these persons with a community of love and forgiveness, that they may grow in their trust of God, and be found faithful in their service to others…that they may be true disciples who walk in the way that leads to life.”
This is a joyous occasion! At Pittman Park, we are witnessing the work of God in action. We are not only welcoming new individuals and families into our church, but we are actively raising up new disciples of Jesus Christ who will bring transformation to the world.
I encourage you to join us at one of our worship services this week as we celebrate God’s work in the lives of these students. Be present so they can see how many people have been praying for them and actively surrounding them with the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Be excited for this milestone in their life and in our church, and keep loving and extending God’s grace to all!
