Last night was an incredible kick off to our Wednesday night programming at Pittman Park! We gathered for Communion and Backpack Buddies at 5:00, Open Table at 5:30, and Small Groups for all ages and Choir at 6:30! I hope that you will make Wednesday nights at Pittman Park a part of your weekly rhythm. I believe that our gathering, studying, worshipping, eating, and talking together, are a vital part of our continued growth as a church and individually as disciples of Jesus.

Speaking of rhythms…

This week we kick off our new Rhythms sermon series where we will be talking about the rhythms that make us, break us, and help us grow. First we will be talking about how our lives sometimes get out of sync—those moments and even seasons of life where we find ourselves struggling with our purpose, God’s plan, and where our lives are headed. If you’ve ever struggled with developing a rhythm of life that sustains you through every season or if you’re struggling to find your rhythm now, I hope you’ll join us as we worship and grow together this Sunday.

Last but not least, I want to encourage you to find your place here at Pittman Park. On Sunday, August 28 we will have a Starting Point class for those who wish to learn more about our church and take a step towards membership. The class takes about 45 minutes and includes lunch. You can sign up for Starting Point by emailing [email protected].

God bless,
