Hi, Pittman Park Family!

I’m excited for you to join us in worship this week as we welcome Albert Williams to come and lead us! Albert is our Wesley Foundation Director at Georgia Southern University. He is starting his third year at Wesley and has been a transformational presence for students on our campus. Albert and his wife Kathryn are members of Pittman Park and are active throughout our community.

Albert will not only be preaching on Sunday but will also be giving an update about our ministry to college students at Georgia Southern University and beyond through the Wesley Foundation. Wesley Foundations across Georgia are on our college campuses to be the community that surrounds our students as they decide who they are, where they’re going, and what they will give their lives to. Our Wesley Foundations are here to pray with students, cry with them, laugh with them, love them, and support them throughout college and beyond.

I can tell you from first-hand experience that it’s the love and grace I experienced at Georgia Southern Wesley that changed the course of my life and my future and helped me become the person I am today. The community there helped to ground me in Christ as I was discovering who God was calling me to be. And I am not alone, Wesley Foundations continue to be a place of deep faith and great fun on our college campuses.

This week, I hope you’ll do three things to support Georgia Southern Wesley:

  • Pray for College Students and Campus Ministries: Campus ministries and students need and covet your prayers. Please add them to your prayer list.
  • Follow Georgia Southern Wesley: Like their Facebook page and follow them on Instagram to see everything God is doing at Georgia Southern Wesley.
  • Partner with Georgia Southern Wesley by becoming a donor: Wesley needs your support to continue to reach Georgia Southern’s campus for Christ.

While I’m excited for Albert to share about Wesley, Stephanie and I will miss you this week as we head to Annual Conference in Tifton. We are praying for you and should you need us, you can feel free to call me at 912-678-5631 or email me at [email protected]

God bless,
