Pittman Park’s Reach Fund is money designated for people who find themselves in urgent financial need. In 2022, 267 families received assistance totaling $15,617.
When an individual or family approaches the church with a request for monetary assistance, they are given an appointment time when they can explain more about their situation and the church can determine the best way to help.
Church members John and Kathy Allen have been counseling our friends in need and making determinations for Reach Fund assistance. John spent many years in non-profit finance, and Kathy has extensive experience in banking. They took on the role at the end of 2021 and have helped create protocols for the program.
